Today was the first day of admissions for the academic sessions of 2014 – 15. Some made the cut with the steep cutoff at Sri Ram College of Commerce and some missed the bus. NNIS caught up with students to get a sense of what was the feeling to make it too there college of choice.
After the scrapping of the Four Year Undergraduate Programme Sri Ram College of Commerce has become the first college to release its cut off list. As per the first cutoff released by SRCC, the cutoff for B Com (Hons) has been kept at 97.5 percent. Those who want to study BA Economics (Hons) the cutoff is 98.25%. For students of science it is 97.25 per cent.
The list has been uploaded on the university’s website and admissions for academic session 2014-15 have started. Many students who have made it to SRCC on Day 1 of admissions are upbeat of the chance they have got.
Students are not surprised that the cut – off in the college is high. Many are happy that they will be able to be part of a historic college like Sri Ram College of Commerce.
