Bodh Gaya: The Prime Minister of Vietnam Nguyễn Tấn Dũng will visit the holy city of Bodh Gaya on October 27. He would be accompanied by a 50 member delegation. Dung would be on his 2- day official visit to India.
Vietnamese Ambassador to India Than Tan yesterday met Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and apprised him about the proposed visit. Dung would arrive at Bodh Gaya directly from Vietnam and would head to New Delhi after visiting it.
As per reports, CM Manjhi would personally receive Dung at the Bodh Gaya Airport. It is likely that two leaders would discuss exploring cooperation over tourism and trade.
Every year a large number of tourists and pilgrims from Vietnam visit Bodh Gaya, which is the most revered land for Buddhists.
