Mumbai: Soon after Aamir’s PK faced protests from different group for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of Hindus, Salman Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Bajrangi Khan’ is the new target of the fundamentalists.Being at the receiving end of the anger of fundamentalists, film’s director Kabir Khan and Salman Khan even received hate mails from many religious extremists. They have declared that ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ will also not be tolerated.
“I’ve been getting hate mail from a particular radical organization. They think the film promotes love jihad,†said Kabir Khan. However Kabir Khan is not paying any attention to these threats and will not change the title or replace the content of his film. “I will never surrender to such absurd demands,” he said.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan features Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles, and deals with a romantic relationship between a Muslim man and a Brahmin woman. Principal photography began in New Delhi in November 2014, and the film is scheduled for release on Eid 2015.
