Patna: Zoo authorities in Bihar have taken necessary steps to create required warmth for the animals and protect them from harsh winter season. The temperatures in the Indian subcontinent dip drastically during the months of December and January. Director of Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park in Patna, Yash Chandrasekaran, said last week that the zoo authorities are making extra efforts to take care of the animals. Zoo animals are the worst affected by a change in temperature as they have been displaced from their natural habitat and kept in places where the temperatures are not favourable to their bodies.
