Anna Hazare to start his protest against Land Acquisition Bill today

Social activist Anna Hazare would begin his protest at Jantar Mantar against the Land Ordinance Bill today saying that it is anti-farmer.

Hazare said that BJP went for an ordinance on land acquisition which is not in favor of democracy. The social activist called for the Land Ordinance Bill to be taken back, adding that the government should instead look out for ways to improve the condition of the farmers.

Several AAP Leaders are also expected to participate. Hazare said that Aam Aadmi Party leaders can join the agitation as part of the public but they won’t be allowed to share the dais with him. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas will be meeting Hazare on Monday over the issue of Land Ordinance Bill. However, the party is still undecided over joining the protest against the bill.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Monday met Anna Hazare. They would take part in the agitation against land acquisition ordinance with Hazare.
