New Delhi: Even as counting is underway for the Delhi assembly polls, political parties remained hopeful of victory in the national capital, however, Congress remained quiet on the process.
Congress leader PC Chacko said that the party is keeping close watch on the results and that they will assess their mistakes and will work on the same from the beginning.
AAP leader Kumar Vishwas and Atishi Marlena said that the party is confident of its win and that the people of Delhi will give mandate in favour of the party.
AAP volunteers have already started dancing and singing outside party office in Delhi’s Patel Nagar.
Youngsters and children can be seen dancing outside the office on a decorated stage. The party has crossed its anticipated 51 seat mark in the trends and is expected to sweep polls with ease.
While Arvind Kejriwal is leading in the New Delhi constituency, BJP candidate Nupur Sharma has said that she has left everything on god as counting continues.
Other, BJP leaders said that the party would rather wait for the results than celebrating on just the trends.
