Mumbai: A FIR has been filed against actor Ranbeer Singh for kissing Deepika Padukone in public, during the AIB Knockout last month.

Apart from Ranveer, Deepika Padukone and Karan Johar were also made accused in the FIR. Ranveer had also kissed Karan Johar during the event, however the latter took it into right spirit.
The FIR was filed by a Police Officer of Maharashtra Police, under sections 292 (which deals with selling pornography), 294 (obscene acts in a public place) of the Indian Penal Code and section 67a of the Information Technology (IT) Act which deals with uploading and distribution of pornography on the internet.
Apart from this, AIB and the participants of the Roasting Show face several Police Complaints. The Maharashtra Government has also threatened to take action, if it was found that any law was violated during the show.
