Former RJD leader Sadhu Yadav has come in support of Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and said that Manjhi will definitely win the trust vote with full majority on 20th February.
Meanwhile, Jitan Ram Manjhi has said he will quit the CM’s post if state Assembly voted against him. The regional Janata Dal United (JD-U) last week sacked Manjhi on charges of anti-party activities and named former chief minister Nitish Kumar as Manjhi’s replacement. Kumar, along with party legislators who supported him, had met the President earlier this week to stake claim to form government after Bihar Governor, Keshari Nath Tripathi, did not take a call. Tripathi justified his decision accusing Kumar of indulging in “unconstitutional” means.
However, Congress chief Ashok Chaudhary thinks Manjhi is emotionally blackmailing the people by playing on Dalit card which is wrong.
Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has included Dusadh caste in the mahadalit category in a bid to expand his base.
