Actress Sonam Kapoor has been brought to Mumbai and admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital for treatment of H1N1 influenza virus.
She was diagnosed with Influenza H1N1 (Swine Flu), while she was in Rajkot Gujarat.She was shooting for the movie ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ in Gondal, Rajkot. He co-stars included Salman Khan and Anupam Kher.
She was initially admitted to Sterling Hospital in Rajkot, Gujarat, where she was tested positive for H1N1 Virus.
She had gone there on February 25 for shooting. This incident took place on February 28, when she showed symptoms of the disease.
She was airlifted from Rajkot to Mumbai on the evening on February 28 (8:30PM) and was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital.
Apart from Sonam, her Physical Trainer has also been diagnosed with Swine Flu.
No one from the Cast and Crew of the Film has been tested positive for Swine Flu so far. The shooting of the film has resumed in Rajkot.
She is presently stable and is under the observation. He throat swabs are regularly examined for H1N1 virus.
