Patna: The Political alignment in Bihar is likely to be modified as the Assembly Elections are approaching. The State BJP has hinted that the newly formed Hindustan Awam Morcha (HAM) would be part of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar, which already consists of BJP, LJP and RLSP.
HAM was floated by former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, after his ouster from the Government by JDU last month.
BJP State President Mangal Pandey today said that since both BJP and HAM have common goal of ouster of Nitish Kumar from power, an alliance between them is likely. However he did not specify if any steps were being taken in this regard.
Meanwhile, JDU has said that the much awaited merger of Janata Parivar Parties would be finalized next week. Senior Party Leader Vashishth Narayan Singh said that the process is in final stage and the date of merger could be announced after next meeting.
