CBSE Class 10 and 12 Board Exams to commence today

The Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams conducted by CBSE would commence from (March 2) today. About 10.4 lakh students would write the CLass 12 Examination while around 13.7 lakh students would write Class 10 Examinations from today.

The Class 12 and Class 10 Exams would begin today

For Class 12 (AISSCE 2015), the Last Examination would be conducted on April 20. For Class 10 (AISSE 2015), the last paper would be held on March 26.

There has been an average increase of 3.37% in the number of candidates appearing for Class 10 Examinations compared to 2014. For Class 12 Examination, this figure is 1.01% only.

This year the number of schools participating in Class 12 Examination is 9407 compared to 8602 last year. For class 10 Examination, 14047 Schools are participating compared to 12871 last year.

CBSE has put up 3537 and 3164 Centers for Class 10 and Class 12 Examinations respectively.

Students have been issued Online Admit Cards. From this year, Value Based Questions in all major subjects for classes X and XII up to 3-5 marks will be included. The questions will be based on content and analysed on the basis of the values they reflect.
