Samsung has announced the release of its two new smartphones, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge next month. While both of them would be available on stores after first week of April, the pre-release booking is on-going.
Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge
The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge offer a new standard for design, craftsmanship and performance and seamlessly blend premium materials. Both Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge will be available with 32/64/128GB storage options available in White Pearl, Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum.
Samsung has dropped the SD Card slot from these phones, but it has significantly increased the amount of available memory on phones. On the 32GB models of the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, about 23.5GB remains available on first boot and upon updating all of the pre-installed apps from the Play Store, according to Androidcentral.com.
While most of the features of Galaxy s6 and Galaxy s6 edge are same, the latter has dual edge display. A dual Edge display means that Galaxy S6 Edge will be suitable for both left and right-handed users. In contrast, most of the phones including Galaxy s6 is suited for use with the right hand.
