Politicos and Social Activist on Monday said that ‘serious investigation’ needs to be done on the death of IAS Officer DK Ravi at his Bengaluru apartment.
Ravi, posted as Karnataka’s additional commissioner, commercial tax, was found dead in his official apartment on Monday evening, police said, adding it seemed a case of suicide.
No suicide note was however found. BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said that government needs to find the truth behind the death of the IAS officer.
Congress, NCP and AAP also demanded serious investigation in the case by the Bengaluru police and also the state government. Social Activist Nutan Thakur said that such honest IAS officers are always under threat by mafias for their work.
