Patna: At least 2 People were killed in Bihar’s Darbhanga district due to Earthquake which jolted Indian subcontinent on April 25, 2015. Over 10 people have also been injured.

In Patna, the tremor was extensive, however no damage was done. Residents panicked and came outdoors within minutes of have experienced tremors.
In Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh also, 2 people have reportedly died.
The Earthquake was perceived to be of magnitude 7.5 in India, while in Nepal it peaked to 7.9 at its epicenter.
In Malda town of West Bengal, around 40 people have been reportedly injured.
In Nepal, it caused extensive damage with toppled walls and collapsed buildings. According to reports, the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kathmandu Durbar Square (similar to Delhi’s Qutub Minar) collapsed during the earthquake. 2 Casualties have been reported in Nepal.
