Raipur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh lauded the efforts and bravery of the jawans who were martyred in the Sukma encounter.

A definite promotion is also on the cards for the constables who have survived. Singh may also attend the ceremony which is scheduled to take place today in honour of the deceased jawans.
Seven jawans of the Special Task Force (STF) of Chhattisgarh Police were killed and 12 injured in an encounter with Naxals in Pedmal forest in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district.
Meanwhile, the injured jawans are undergoing treatment in the hospital. The encounter took place when a team of STF was out on a search operation.
