Serial Sex Offenders from Scotland arrested by Delhi Police

New Delhi: Crime Branch of the Delhi Police arrested one of UK’s wanted serial sexual offender.

The suspect, an Indian national, Raminder Singh (28) was wanted by police authorities of Scotland in two cases of sexual assault and attempt to murder, said joint commissioner (crime) Ravindra Yadav.

The accused had escaped from UK immediately after committing crimes and had been staying in Chandigarh and Punjab after assuming fake identity.

Yadav said that the UK government had requested the help of the Delhi crime branch in the case after which the developments took place.

The UK government had got a red corner notice against him through interpol.
