Sofia Nikitchuk, a 21-year-old student from Yekaterinburg was crowned Miss Russia 2015 on April 18 and is all set to delegate her country to the big 2 International beauty pageants, Miss World 2015 and Miss Universe 2015 later this year.
As part of the winning award, she was awarded 3 million rubles ($60,000) and a new Hyundai Solaris car, as well as a coveted golden crown, reports the Moscow Times.
Nikitchuk is presently a humanities and fine arts student at Ural Federal University and would graduate this year.
“I am proud of my education. I’ve graduated from both artistic and musical schools. I’m going to get a red diploma [for honors] and I know for certain that I will get a master’s degree,” she said after winning the title.
Earlier this year, she won the title of Miss Yekaterinburg and was the delegate of Sverdlovsk Oblast at Miss Russia 2015.
She was born on 20 October 1993 at Snezhinsk, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia. Three years ago, Sofia moved to Yekaterinburg. Her height is 5 ft 10 inches and the hair color is Brown.
