Bihar Board Class 10 (Matric) Results to be announced before 15 June 2015

Patna: The Results of Class 10 (Matriculation) Examination of Bihar Board would be announced before 15 June 2015. State Education Minister Prashant Kumar Shahi said this yesterday, while admitting that the entire process has been delayed by more than 1 month due to the strike by various unions of school teachers. The Evaluation process has started and would be completed this month itself.

Around 14 Lakh Students had appeared in the 2015 Matric Examination which was conducted by Board in the month of March 2015.

Earlier, Bihar Board declared the results of Class 12 (Intermediate) today with a pass percentage of 88%.

Poor students of all sections of society including upper caste, who pass the Class 10 examination with first division (60% marks) would get a scholarship of Rs 10,000. This was announced by Chief Minitser Nitish Kumar upon recommendations of the ‘Savarn Aayog’. According to the policy, all students whose family income is less than Rs 1.50 lakh per annum would be considered eligible for scholarship.
