Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma starrer movie “Bombay Velvet” was released with much hype today and the movie had received a big thumbs up from critics, but its box office response has been poor. With this, it is expected not to collect more than Rs. 5 Crore nett on opening Friday.

According to reports, the movie had a dull opening across India and had the occupancy figure of 15-20% only. The film has failed to generate interest in audience, despite its star power.
It was expected to work well in metros and at multiple screen cinemas, however there also it failed to perform anything significant
In coming days, the figure might improve possibly due to word of mouth marketing, but with this sort of start, you cannot cross Rs. 100 Crores. All the best!
