An Australian woman wearing a tiara planted a cheeky kiss on Britain’s Prince Harry on Thursday (May 7) as he greeted crowds gathered at Sydney Harbour.
Victoria McRae was seen kissing Prince Harry on the cheek and then trying but failing to land another on his lips. The prince later joked to Australian media that he got “more than a kiss”. “I just said this is the third time I’ve proposed, put a girl out of her misery and then he said that ‘Could he think about it’ and I said well I’ll be happy with just a kiss and so he let me kiss him on the cheek, but then I went in for it and the rest is history,” McRae told reporters.
Prince Harry spent the past month in Australia as part of an exchange programme with the Australian Army and is set to finish on Saturday (May 9), local media reported. “It’s been fantastic and actually it’s really nice to have a chance to speak to members of the public as opposed to being locked in and working hard,” he said. He is heading to New Zealand next.
