COMEDK UGET 2015 Results declaration postponed to June 8

The date of declaration of COMEDK UGET 2015 Results have been postponed to June 8. Earlier it was scheduled to be announced on May 30. The decision was taken by COMEDK Consortium after reports of discrepancy in the PUC(II) Exam 2015 Results surfaced. Several students organized protests against the erroneous results. The Result Declaration Date of Karnataka CET 2015 has also been postponed till June 1.

The Erroneous results were published online on few website on May 18. Students launched protests against the authorities and demanded postponement of the results of CET and COMEDK. They feared that re-evaluation or re-totalling would impact their CET ranking.

The Department of Pre-University Education had received 2,825 applications for re-evaluation and 10,115 applications (for 20,623 papers) for photocopying. The revaluation and re-totalling fee has been waived off.

The Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association, have formed “Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” (COMEDK) for organising a common entrance test followed by centralized counseling (Single window system).
