Varanasi: The Varanasi police are on the lookout for five men who allegedly sexually harassed a Banaras Hindu University research student while she was inside the campus along with a friend.
The police in Varanasi’s Lanka station have registered an FIR on 28th April under section 323, 354, 365, 395 and 511.
According to reports, police initially refused to register the case and did it after the matter was brought to light by the media.
The girl had reported the incident on 22nd April.
