Haryana Police cracks AIPMT Answer Sheets Leak Racket

Rohtak: Haryana Police has claimed to crack a racket which was involved in leaking All-India Pre-Medical Entrance Test (AIPMT) 2015 Answer Sheets. The Police has arrested 4 people, including two dentists and a MBBS student in this regard from a hotel in Panipat, during a raid. One person remains at large and police is trying to get hold of him.

According to reports, the answer sheets were sold to candidates at a whooping cost of Rs. 15-20 Lakhs each.

The operation of the racket was quite sophisticated. They used Online Apps like Whatsapp to transfer the scanned copies of the answer sheets. It appears that the members had gathered hotel for financial exchanges in return of the answer sheets.

The racket also helped students live at examination hall which became evident when Police recovered undergarments in which microphones and mobile chips were installed.

Such rackets are quite common in AIPMT, the single window entrance exam to medical and dental colleges in the country. Last year also, several students had complained that the questions/answer sheets of AIPMT were leaked.
