New Delhi: The Delhi Commission for Women had again summoned AAP leader Kumar Vishwas today for clarification over his relationship row but he did not appear.
DCW Chairperson Barkha Shukla Singh said that Vishwas does not have any respect for women adding that all AAP leaders are anti-women.
She also said that she did whatever she could by counseling the couple but Vishwas should consider it as his responsibility to prevent a woman’s home.
The Complainant said that Arvind Kejriwal has stated that Vishwas’ family is being defamed but he should also consider that the woman is also being defamed.
The complainant’s husband demanded that Vishwas should come before media and DCW and clarify that the woman is not involved in any relation with him.
Victim’s husband also said that he along with his wife went to Kumar Vishwas’ home and pleaded before him to help dispel such rumours. But Vishwas threatened her to stay quiet or else she would be killed like AAP leader Santosh Koli. Notably, Koli, who was to contest the Delhi Assembly polls, was killed in a road accident in 2013.
