Panaji: A 28 year old biker succumbed to his injuries after being hit by the car of an MLA from Goa on Friday.
The incident took place near the airport when the minister, Subhash Phal Dessai, was on his way to board a flight for Kerala.
His driver was driving the car. Dessai said that the young boy’s death was an unfortunate matter and promised to help his family in every possible way.
The victim’s brother said that the minister has been helping the family adding that a speed breaker should be constructed on the main lane. A case of unnatural death has also been registered.
