Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood, Beverley Knight record Charity Song for Nepal Quake Victims

Rolling Stones stars Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood and Soul singer Beverley Knight have recorded a charity song for the victims of Nepal earthquake, which claimed over 7500 lives and damaged property worth billions of dollars. The trio recorded ‘Look into Your Heart’ to raise funds for Save The Children’s Nepal Earthquake Appeal, with Knight on lead vocals, Jagger on backing vocals and Wood on guitar. It was produced by Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason.

British soul singer, Beverley Knight, says, “It’s such a great honour to be, you know, part and parcel and lending my voice to such legendary musicians on a really worthy single.”

The single also features a 100-strong choir of the charity’s supporters.

“These kids need the support of people like Save The Children, because without it they truly have no future, not only in their homelands but in their own personal lives, you know, growing up – if they get to grow up”, she added

More than 7,500 people were killed and hundreds of thousands left homeless by the quake, which struck on April 25th.
