Who thought your sex life could actually be related to the amount of money you earn? However, a new study shows that people who have more sex earn better than those who don’t.
Economist Dr Nick Drydakis at Cambridge’s Anglia Ruskin University used data from 7,500 Greek participants in research about their sex lives and jobs, and found that more sex was linked to more money earned.
The effects were especially pronounced for peopled aged between 26 and 50 and those with ongoing health problems. Dr said the reason was that sexual activity could be seen as “a barometer for health, quality of life, well-being and happiness,” and that in the absence of these elements, they might feel lonely, social anxiety and depression, which can affect their work life.
The study is published in the International Journal of Manpower.
