PM Modi arrives in South Korea’s Seoul city

Seoul, May 18 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday arrived in South Korea’s capital city Seoul on the final leg of three-nation visit. He was received by South Korean dignitaries and other officials at the airport as his Air India flight landed in the East Asian nation. The prime minister was also greeted by Indian nationals waiting for him outside the airport, whom he greeted back warmly. Following his arrival, Modi laid a wreath at the Seoul National Cemetery and paid tribute to soldiers who died during the 1950-53 Korean War. Later, he will address a community reception where about 1,500 members of the Indian community are expected to be present. PM Modi will be present in South Korea for two days to hold bilateral discussions with President Park Geun-hye and meet important business leaders in Seoul. During his visit to Seoul, Modi will be hoping to attract investments of $10 billion for the infrastructure projects. He will be accorded an official welcome after which he will hold talks with President Park Geun-hye.
