Patiala, May 18 (ANI): Police arrested six people in connection with a robbery case in a bank in Patiala city of Punjab. Police recovered gold ornaments worth rupees 30 million and rupees 250,000 ($ 3935) cash from the six people who had looted Muthoot Finance bank on Saturday (May 16).
Of the six people, three men had entered the bank in broad daylight while two female employees were inside the bank and one person was standing outside the bank. The two female employees have been identified as Venus Sharma and Navneet Kaur.
Police said vehicles used in the robbery have also been recovered. The police caught the masked robbers after watching the CCTV footage and later female employees were apprehended. During the questioning, they confessed to the crime.
