Royal twins of Monaco baptised at Monaco Cathedral

Monaco had a royal baby celebration on Sunday as its royal twins were baptised. Babies Jacques and Gabriella were baptised at 10:30 a.m. at the Monaco Cathedral in a ceremony that was broadcast in the Palace courtyard.

Their parents, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, emerged from the cathedral with their babies in front of cheering well-wishers.

The twins were born on December 10 at the Princess Grace hospital, named after their grandmother, film star Grace Kelly who died in a car crash in 1982.

All being well, baby Jacques will one day inherit the title of Prince of Monaco.
