Russian Seals re-ignite World War 2 Passion on Victory Day Celebrations

Meet Russia’s Seal Team Two. These seals are firing off their patriotism for fellow Russians on the World War Two victory anniversary.

Armed with water pistols and Soviet-style military caps, the seals in the Siberian town of Irkutsk have been trained to march — just like their World War Two comrades.

The aquatic park’s director Alexei Berdnikov says the show was dedicated to those who fought. “We have a military patriotic show here. We wanted to pay tributes to those who died and those who fought, to the veterans and to those who heroically worked at a home front”, he said.

Those who came to see the show say they were impressed with the seals’ ability to pack some heat.

One spectator said, “Most of all I liked how skillfully the seals were holding rifles in their flappers, how they turn and how they respond to commands.”

And these seals are likely to continue turning heads — even when the celebrations are over.
