Poonch, June 03 (ANI): Indians waiting to meet their loved ones in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) complained of delay in receiving visit permit clearance from the government in Islamabad. A bus service launched in 2006 connects Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir to Rawalkot in PoK.
A batch of around 60 visitors from Pakistan, who arrived in Jammu and Kashmir a month ago, left for their country on Monday. However, no one from the Indian side could leave for Rawalkot, barely 40 kilometres from Poonch.
An Indian, Haji Makbool Hussain, said he had applied for the visit permit a very long time back but was yet to get a clearance from Pakistan. Meanwhile, a visitor from Pakistan, Fatma Yousuf, also wished that the Indians willing to meet their relatives on the other side of the border receive a clearance soon.
