Patna: After overwhelming Victory with “Abki Baar Modi Sarkar” last year, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has coined a rhyming slogan for upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections 2015. “Jai Jai Bihar, BJP Sarkar”, would be the Party’s Slogan for Bihar Vidhan Sabha Elections 2015, which are scheduled to be held in October this year.
According to Reports, the campaign slogan was approved in the BJP’s meeting headed by party chief Amit Shah recently.
Shah has also set an ambitious target of winning 185 seats in Bihar where it had won 31 out of 40 seats in the last Lok Sabha polls.
BJP is banking high for success in Bihar after a defeat in Delhi Assembly Polls. The Party, which was part of ruling JDU Government till June 2013, has been critical of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in past.
It is also expected that former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi led Hindustani Awam Morcha would support BJP in the Elections.
Rebel RJD Leader Pappu Yadav has also floated his own Party. The Party might try to get support from him, as it would help in securing some crucial votes in eastern Bihar.
Who will be the Chief Ministerial Candidate of BJP in Bihar is uncertain and is likely to be decided after Poll Results. However Former Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi seems to be the leading candidate for this.
