Nagpur, June 22 (ANI): Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis sought clarification from Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria regarding his meeting with Former IPL Chief Lalit Modi, in London last year.
Lalit, the first Commissioner of Indian Premier League (IPL), and others are facing probe by Enforcement Directorate in alleged forex violation cases.
The Mumbai Police Commissioner’s disclosure comes at a time when Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and Chief Minister of northwestern state of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje, are in the middle of a controversy over their role in helping the tainted former IPL Commissioner.
