NCP declares Alliance with RJD, JDU, Congress for Bihar Assembly Elections

Patna: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has announced that it would contest the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly Elections to be held in September-October 2015, along with Rashtriya Janata Dal, Janata Dal United and Indian National Congress.

NCP President Sharad Pawar made an official announcement in this regard while inaugurating 2-day National Adhiveshan of the Party in Patna yesterday.

He said that the party would support the Secular Alliance in Bihar in order to stop BJP coming to Power.

He however refused to divulge details about Seat Allocation with other members of coalition. He rather said that he would accept whatever number of seats are given to NCP, as the Party has a very small support in the State.

He however hinted that the Seat Allocation would be done on the same pattern as recently concluded Bihar Legislative Council Polls.
