New Delhi, Sep 15 (ANI): Post a non-bailable warrant was issued to AAP MLA Somnath Bharti by Delhi court his lawyer approached the Delhi High Court seeking anticipatory bail on an urgent basis.
Somnath Bharti’s Lawyer Vijay Agarwal said he mentioned the urgency of the matter and stated that HC granted the urgency and ordered the petition to be listed on Tuesday itself and hearing is to commence by 2pm.
A Delhi Court dismissed Bharti’s anticipatory bail plea in the domestic violence case filed against him by his wife. Lipika Mitra, the wife Somnath Bharti had filed a complaint with the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) in June, accusing him of domestic violence and mental torture since 2010.
