Patna, Oct 01 (ANI): BJP today released its vision document for Bihar polls and senior leader BJP Arun Jaitley termed the grand-alliance is sans political consistency.
Jaitley also cited the strengths of Bihar and said the central government shall also render support willingly to Bihar for its development. On being asked about granting ‘special status’ to Bihar Jaitley put the onus on the UPA for not granting it and said the NDA is granting something more than specials status to Bihar.
Meanwhile, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has said AAP was not extending support to any political party in assembly polls, hinting not much should be read in his recent visit to Patna and reports of his closeness with Nitish Kumar. He however showered heaps of praises on Nitish Kumar and his administration.
According to political pundits, the decision of AAP Government has come in the backdrop of Kumar’s ally Lalu Prasad recently making a number of statements projecting the Bihar polls a fight between “forward and backward castes”. A section of AAP was also uncomfortable supporting the grand secular alliance because of Lalu’s conviction in the fodder scam.
