Bihar elections: BJP leading in 11 seats, JDU in 5 in early trends

Patna, Nov 08 (ANI): According to first figures coming in from the Election Commission office in Patna, the Bharatiya Janata Party is leading in 11 seats and the Janata Dal United is leading in five in vote counting in Bihar. Meanwhile, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is leading in five seats, while the Hindustan Awam Morcha and the Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) are leading in two each. The Congress Party is leading in one seat. Former chief minister and Hindustani Awam Morcha founder Jitan Ram Manjhi is leading from the Makhdumpur seat in early trends. Bihar minister Shyam Rajak is leading from Phulwari Sharif, while BJP leader Nand Kishore Sahib is leading from Patna Sahib. The counting of votes began amidst tight security this morning. Thirty nine counting centres have been set up across the state. CCTVs camera have been installed at all counting centres. E-counting software is also being used to record real time compilation of round-wise data.
