Kanhaiya detained for protesting against ‘police brutality’ on Bihar students

New Delhi, June 10 (ANI): Jawaharlal Nehru Univeristy Students’ Union president Kanhaiya Kumar was on Friday detained by the Delhi Police at Bihar Bhawan for protesting against “police brutality on students”. The students raised slogans demanding the suspension of college principal Chandrabhushan Srivastav and the cancellation of the ongoing examinations. Kanhaiya said that the protest is in support of the students, who were baton charged for protesting against the corrupt people. Kumar said that the students should be immediately released and a probe must be ordered against Patna Arts College principal.
