Karnataka bus strike hits day 3

Gulbarga, July 27 (ANI): The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) employees, who are on an indefinite strike demanding pay hike, continued their stir on the third-day on Wednesday. The All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) members in Gulbarga came out in open support of agitating KSRTC workers, as they took to streets at the Timapuri Circle. With over one lakh employees of all the four divisions of the state road transport corporation announcing an indefinite strike, normal life has been affected across Karnataka. Commuters faced a lot of trouble, with drivers and conductors not turning up for work. Authorities in several districts have declared a holiday in schools and colleges. In the wake of this strike, public are solely depending on private vehicles for commuting.
