Omar Abdullah meets Rajnath, offers suggestions to solve Kashmir unrest

Srinagar, July 24 (ANI): On the second day of his two-day visit to Srinagar, Home Minister Rajnath Singh met National Conference leader and former chief minister Omar Abdullah, even as the Valley remained under curfew for the 16th consecutive day on Sunday. After meeting the Home Minister, Abdullah said that Jammu and Kashmir is a political problem. He also said that they have given suggestions to control the situation in Kashmir. Singh is on a two-day visit to the state to take stock of the prevailing situation in the Kashmir Valley, which has been struck by violence since the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani by Indian security forces.
