Dubai, Sep 30 (ANI): Member of Parliament (MP) from Telangana and founder of Telangana Jagruthi K. Kavitha has taken the festival of Bathukamma to a global level as the former celebrated the floral festival in Dubai. Bathukamma is a colourful and vibrant festival of Telangana, celebrated by women, as a symbol of state’s cultural identity. The festival falls before the onset of winters. The women folk dress up in their best, adorn ornaments, carry a flowers-made pattern called ‘Bathukammalu’, which is immersed into a water body.
