Sopore (Jammu and Kashmir), Dec 26 (ANI): In yet another incident of terror in Kashmir Valley, unidentified gunmen resorted to indiscriminate firing in the Sopore region of Baramulla district on Sunday night. At least one person was reportedly killed in the incident. The deceased has been identified as Nazir Ahmad Mir. He was shot dead by the suspected militants near his residence in Behrampora area of Sopore. The gunmen successfully fled away from the crime scene. Family members mourned as they stand in front of a coffin of a victim who was shot in the incident. The victim was rushed to nearby hospital by the locals. However, Mir was declared dead on arrival by the hospital authorities. A case has been registered by the Baramulla police.
