Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Dec 25 (ANI): The 14th Sattvik food festival was organized in Ahmedabad on Saturday. The festival which is organized by (SRISTI) Society for Research and Initiatives for Sustainable Technologies and Institutions puts the lesser known but nutrient-rich food from various areas on the plate of urban communities helping them to adopt healthier food habits and lifestyle. Sattvik, a festival started 14 years ago at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad is held every year to display traditional nutritious food at stalls and associated knowledge systems, to provide market based incentives for conserving agro-biodiversity. Around 50 food stalls from different parts of the country were set up at the festival which was held at the Ahmedabad Education Society ground in the city.
