After UP, Uttarakhand, ‘Dangal’ declared tax-free in Haryana

New Delhi, Dec 26 (ANI): After Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, the Haryana government has declared Aamir Khan starrer-sports drama ‘Dangal’ tax-free in the state. “The exemption has been given keeping in view the promotion of ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ programme and promotion of wrestling in the movie, said Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar while addressing a public meeting at Garhi-Sampla near Rohtak yesterday. The film, based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his journey in making his daughters Geeta and Babita become world class wrestling champions, was earlier made tax free in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Well, ‘Dangal’, which is flying high at the box-office, has collected Rs 64.60 crore just in two days, is expected to cross Rs. 100 cr mark soon.
