Patna, Jan 15 (ANI): The shocking visuals of the horrific boat tragedy on the Ganga river in Bihar’s Patna, show how two boats ferrying 40 people capsized in less than 40 seconds. Due to a technical glitch in the boat following which smoke appeared, the panicked passengers in their fright began to rock the boat resulting the boat to begin sinking slowly. However, when another boat appeared by, the people began to jump onto it causing both the vessels to turn turtle in the blink of the eye. People could be seen jumping into the water to save themselves from being pulled under. Chaos ensued as people standing on the bank realised what had just happened and began shouting for help. Some even jumped into the water to rescue those who could not swim. Meanwhile, 21 bodies have been recovered and rescue operation continues for survivors.
