Sikh community in Washington raises concern over rise in hate crimes

Washington DC, March 06 (ANI): After a Sikh man was shot and injured in Washington’s Kent city, the Sikh community in Washington D.C. has raised their concerns and fear about the rise in hate crimes in the state. Dr. Rajwant Singh, Founder and Chairman of the Sikh Council on Religion and Education said the community feels it is very important for the government to treat such hate crimes severely and should release strong statements against hateful acts towards minorities.
