Rajouri (J and K), Mar 27 (ANI): After at least three months of remaining closed due to heavy snow, operations were underway to clear the arterial Mughal Road in Kashmir and restore traffic movement. Mughal Road is a lifeline for the border villages of Kashmir valley as it is an important route for the trade and commerce. Mughal Road offers the shortest route from Rajouri and Poonch districts. Chief Engineer (Mughal Road), Sudhir Shah, said the operations will be over soon. Kashmir has been receiving unseasonal snowfall since early this week. Traffic on the road has remained disrupted since first major snowfall in January this year.
