Muslim shopkeeper plays key role in strengthening communal harmony

Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh), Apr 04 (ANI): “Naim Gotey Waley” a popular Muslim shop situated in Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh is playing a key role in strengthening the secular fabric of our country. Since many years, the shop has been carrying out its business of making and selling outfits of Hindu Gods and Goddesses along with crowns, garlands, jewellery and many other articles of worship. The shop is frequented by several Hindu people without any kind of religious biases and the way in which this Muslim family has been running the shop tells us about their faith in other religions. The whole Muslim family is involved in this business and as Navaratri season is going on, the work has become more hectic and thus it’s divided among everyone. Some are seen making outfits for the deities, while others are busy preparing the Religious Thali, jewelleries and crowns of deities. Whatever the work is, they do it with full dedication, keeping aside their religious discriminations.
With their selling of Hindu Deity garments, the artisans in the shop have proved that religion is not a medium of dividing people but uniting them.
