New Delhi, April 03 (ANI): The protest of Tamil Nadu farmers, who have been sitting at Jantar Mantar for drought relief funds, entered its 22nd day on Monday. Farmers from other states also joined their protest and Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker M Thambidurai also extended her support by interacting with them. The farmers have been demanding a drought relief package of Rs. 40,000 crore from the Centre. The state has been severely affected by drought and over 100 farmers have committed suicide in the state’s Cauvery belt.
